What Is A Boudoir Session?

Boudoir sessions are photo sessions that show off the beautiful woman you are. Every person has their own idea of what sexy is as well as what they are comfortable with. These sessions are cute, fun, sexy, flirty and even a bit sensual all the while maintaining your comfort level. You can wear what makes you comfortable...or take a risk and wear a little less. 

Why have a boudoir session done?

 Having gorgeous and sexy portraits of yourself can be an incredible self esteem booster. Confidence??? What could be sexier than that?

Hair & Make-up

Many ladies are good at doing their own hair and make-up but there are plenty of options available. Salons and department store make-up counters are good resources.  We can arrange for someone to come in and do your makeup for an additional cost, however please come with your hair done or up in curlers.  False eyelashes add just a touch of drama to your pictures - bring a pair and we will assist you with putting them on if you need it.

Body Image & Weight

Most women (myself included) don’t have bodies like a super model but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have gorgeous, sexy photos as well. Just remember… your special someone loves you just the way you are. I have photographed women from a size 0 up to a size 28 and beyond – no matter what your size, your portraits will be beautiful.

Clothing Choices

Bring clothing that you feel sexy and beautiful in. Bras, panties, corsets, teddies, stockings, tank tops, booty shorts, sports jerseys & men’s business shirts are all popular. Don’t forget to bring accessories for each of your outfits as well as your sexiest shoes.

Modesty & Nudity

You don’t have to take your clothes off to be sexy. Clothed, partially clothed, hinted nudity and fully nude can all be sexy. We’ll spend a few moments prior to the start of your session to discuss what you’re comfortable showing in your photos so that I can be sure that the parts you want hidden stay that way.

Privacy

Privacy is a concern due to the intimate nature of boudoir sessions. All boudoir images are kept in strict confidence and no images will be shown without permission from the client in writing. I use only professional labs and album companies that safeguard the privacy of our client’s images.

Girlfriends Sessions

You and four or more of your best girlfriends can get together and do your sessions at the same time. These are done in a local hotel and are a guaranteed party. Arrange for someone to come and do your hair and make-up, do your own, each others or use one of my recommended makeup artists. Each of you will be photographed individually as you are dressed (or undressed) and ready. Be sure to have some food and drinks handy as it can make for a long but very fun day. At the end when everyone is dressed I take a group portrait to commemorate the session.

Where to do your session

Your session can be done at my studio, your home, a local hotel, bed and breakfast and even outside in a private or secluded area.
